Kerry Concedes

President Bush on Wednesday emerged as the victor in the fiercely fought race for the White House after Sen. John Kerry decided against contesting the vote in the battleground state of Ohio.

Kerry ended his quest shortly after 11 a.m. ET, concluding one of the most expensive and bitterly contested races on record, with a call to the president.

Lets all hope that at least for the next 4 years The Republican party can Keep Their Bush Clean.

WANTED: New pair of Flip Flops

At the Town Meeting Style Presidential Debate:

KERRY: Boy, to listen to that, the President I don’t think is living in a world of reality with respect to the environment. Now, if you’re a Red Sox fan, that’s okay. But if you’re a President, it’s not.

Is that Kerry wearing his un-reality hat?

Poll: Race Still Tight

Although Americans think Sen. John Kerry did the best job in the debates, the Democratic nominee appears to have lost some ground to President Bush in the popularity contest, according to a new CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll. The new survey comes as voters in the battleground state of Florida begin casting early ballots today.

iPod & iTunes-A-GoGo

This week Apple Computer has announced that it has so far been way ahead of the pack in terms of Digital Music Entertainment.

“Talk to the hand!”

on Tuesday it was announced that Apple iPod had 93% of the Hard Drive based Portable Digital Audio Players. This hit many people by surprise to find that number to be so high, but even more shocking is that Wednesday apple announced during the quarter Apple shipped 2,016,000 iPods up 500% over Q4 2003. Today, apple announced that iTunes users are now downloading more than 4 million songs per week, a rate of over 200 million songs per year. This puts them far in the lead over any other Online Music Vendor.

It will be interesting to see if the offerings from Microsoft (spread across many many vendors) will be able to catch up with the lead that Apple is showing so far.

For the Love of God – QUIET!

MONTERREY, Mexico (AP) — Some Mexican priests, tired of Mass being interrupted by ringing cell phones, are using counterintelligence technology made in Israel to silence the devices.

In four Monterrey churches, cell phone blockers the size of a hand-held radio have been tucked among the paintings of the Madonna and clay statues of saints to bring peace back to Mass.

It’s about time too, I can’t stand it when Cell phones go off in places where quiet is the whole point of it. I look forward to the day that they make one of these that I can put in my pocket, and create a nice little 50 foot buffer of silence.

No more Britney Spears Ring Tones. No more Rings in the Movie Theatre. No more driving on the road around people on their Cell Phones not paying attention to the Road.

mmmmm….. I think i’ll start praying for it now.

Bible Thumping – Texas Style

A fibreglass statue of Christ that washed up on a sandbar in the Rio Grande three weeks ago is attracting scores of devout pilgrims to a police department lost-and-found and being hailed as a miracle.

“Some come to pray, and some come and just touch it. We have never experienced anything like this before, and interest is growing by the day.”

The statue stands on display in Eagle Pass, Texas

So let me get this straight…. Scores of people, from the home land of our President… are lining up to touch a a fiberglass statue that probably has “made in china” etched in it’s ass?

Yup.. sounds about right….. God bless um.

Tivo – Netflix – WB

Tivo, Netflix, and WB have ganged up for a super secret trial that none of them are commenting on to allow you to Download movies to your Tivo instead of getting DVD’s in the mail.

Seeing that neither side is talking about whats actually happening, there are no further details. But this movement does seem to be putting a fire in the cubes of Cable Provider Video Product people, seeing that this is bound to cut into their profit on the Video On Demand side of things.
